Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Niels D — 24 Dec 2017
Visually stunning (certainly at its time of release in 1982) depiction of a strange, depressing futuristic world. Hauer impresses as the leader of the escaped replicants among an impressive cast. The story is pretty simple and straightforward, but its mesmerizing oddity more than makes up for it.
Special mention for the intense final scene where Deckard (Ford) faces off against the replicants in the appartment of a genetical engineer.
