Review of Blade II (2002) by Eva Marie L — 22 May 2012
I watched this after watching Blade the other night, planning on watching Blade Trinity next.
This isn't as good as the first (and hopefully not as good as the third). It's too matrix-y for my taste. I like realistic and while I doubt anyone would call any of the Blade movies realistic this is too out there for me. I've always hated people horizontal in the air. It sucks. Hopefully Blade will stay vertical in the next one.
Also, this leaves a lot of questions. Like, if the reapers disintegrate all quick in sunlight what's up with Nyssa doing that slow, romantic, flaking-away into nothingness thing? Not cool. Stick to the script.
There may have been a little too much going on IMO. That may be why there's so many questions left unanswered. Trust me, the one I remembered here isn't the only one.
Hopefully the third Blade will do the trilogy justice.
