Review of Blade II (2002) by Teela M — 04 Dec 2013
Here's a movie worth your time. Who won't like it? Those who want to watch Wesley Snipes brood while Kris Kristofferson hogs all the good sarcasm. This sequel was a good step in the right direction for the series before all the infighting during Trinity and the sinful casting decisions for that horrific television series.
There's flawed story telling (like it's predecessor) but the film doesn't suffer from it unless you're a film snob. It's got enough good stuff in it: well choreographed fight sequences, good comedic delivery, and even some horror thanks to the director.
And if you've never rooted for the villain, you might for this film.
