Review of Blade II (2002) by Daryl K — 30 Oct 2012
It's a bit of a different flavor from the original, but 'Blade II' benefits from director Guillermo del Toro's imagination and his understanding of horror and comic book genres, making it better than your average action sequel.
Great staging, imagery, fight choreography, and some decent character development, too. To me, the final, brutal tussle between Blade and Nomak was a high water mark of superhero throw-downs until very recently.
