Review of Blade (1998) by Ryan V — 30 Jun 2012
Wesley Snipes plays a vampire slayer who bears a curse similar to the monsters that he hunts. Naturally, a premise like that won't convince anyone that Blade is a moving character study. However, I do think that it's necessary for this movie to be a good action flick.
The limp dialogue, formulaic plot, yawn-inducing fight scenes, dumb one-liners, and awkward CGI effects are the main reason that I give this pointless movie such a low rating.
