Review of Blade (1998) by Nancy O — 04 Aug 2012
There's nothing special about this paint-by-numbers script, but Blade prevails due to it's stylish action and strong leads (especially Wesley Snipes, who's far more talented than people give him credit for).
Some of the effects don't age too well, but it's a rather enjoyable action/horror hybrid that has more in common with Hellboy than other Marvel flicks.
