Wesley Snipes owns the screen in this adaptation of the little-known Marvel comic book! The action and fights scenes are superb! Stephen Dorff's Deacon Frost is magnetic and unforgettable. Kris Kristofferson was fit for the grizzled, old tough mentor and he has chemistry with Snipes.
And this is a film in which vampires (except the hybrid Blade) are still fearsome bad guys! Witty one-liners sprinkled here and there to lighten the mood of this dark film. Fantastic (unlike another Marvel-based movie franchise.
..)!
