Review of Blacula (1972) by Terri H — 30 Dec 2008
Both William Marshall as Mamuwalde and blaxploitation stalwart Thalmus Rasulala in the Van Helsing role were pretty good. Marshall even out-aristocrats C. Lee, and his final moments are quite moving. However, the plotting is pretty slapdash, and too little craft was put into it.
This cries out for a remake.
