Like many people, I saw that Anthony Hopkins was in this movie so I watched it. I knew that Ray Liotta was going to be the bad guy because he is ALWAYS the bad guy. The movie started off with a bang then slowly died out.
I am not big on having to know the ins and outs of the every character but it is important to have some introduction to the central characters. This movie basically decided to skip this step and let the viewer just fill it in as the movie went along.
The most ridiculous part was the name "Blackway". If this was one of those movies where people had to do a shot every time they heard Blackway, they would be bombed after 40 minutes. Blackway this and Blackway that.
Be careful of Blackway. Lets go find Blackway. Okay I get it, his name is Blackway. After all that, the viewer never knows what the problem with Blackway is other than nobody likes him and he is a bad guy.
Great! From there on, there is no deeper parts to the movie. Three people decide they are going to pick a fight with Blackway. They track him down. They kill him, I just saved you 135 minutes that I will never get back.
