This is one time I'm glad I didn't check RT before watching a movie on Netflix. Otherwise I probably would have missed this gem. Maybe its because I like Anthony Hopkins understated performance? Maybe because I'm British? But I didn't find this movie boring at all.

I loved it. Admittedly I did watch it in two sittings, but to me it could be transformed into a great series. The characters would be worth exploring further. I honestly can't understand the unfavourable reviews.
