Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Justin B — 06 Sep 2018

I did not know this was Denzel Washington's son before seeing it but afterwards I can completely see the nuances of his acting. As a character acting movie, I loved it, five stars. Everyone did an incredible job except one of the female leads was slightly annoying but I looked past that.

The issue I had with the story line was that there were so many implausible loopholes that would have concealed this guy's identity and none of them were found out? Come on. I know Klansman probably aren't the brightest bunch in the stack but he had his KKK card sent to his home address.

How hard would it have been for the local chapter to obtain and find out the truth. I give prop to Spike Lee for ALMOST leaving out his political modus operandi but he just couldn't help it at the end.

All in all, a very well acted and enjoyable flick about an interesting event in our history.
