Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Rodney S — 14 Aug 2018

Cartoon all the way through. It was a true story. It could have been told with a minimum of nuance that would make it real and relatable. Instead, it was a sledgehammer with the usual stereotypes. Adam Driver was the only actor who bothered to act, and he did a great job.

The ending felt tacked on so that the audience would walk away with some kind of powerful feeling, because the script certainly didn't provide it...
