Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Dave R — 20 Aug 2018

Some stories seem too good to be true, and maybe that is why they make movies about them. Such is the case for BlakKlansman. The latest from Spike Lee about an black officer who becomes a member of the Ku Klux Klan is pretty wild (even if the story is spiced up a little for the movie).

Lee is certainly making plenty of statements in this film, one of which is showing his dissatisfaction with our current president. Be that as it may, there are some pretty funny parts to this film, and who knew Denzel Washington's son could act? He used to be a football player.

Mark this down, Lee will get his Oscar nomination this year for this one. It is worth seeing for sure, even if there are a few parts where it drags.
