A powerful feature film about an issue that still resonates until this day, "BlacKkKlansman" depicts the true story of a black police investigator looking to expose the KKK back in the early 70s.

The movie is informative and shows the viewers how the KKK started out, but at the same time, the best thing about it is its visual style: the scenes just flow one after the other, with the right groovy score, and this gives it such a feel-good fluent vibe.

The footage placed towards the end of the film, showing recent events ranging the neo-Nazis protests in Charlottesville to the speech of Donald Trump approving them, proves just how much the story resonates, and how history is repeating itself everyday.

An important film that'll satisfy both your brain and your cinematic thirst.
