Review of Blackhat (2015) by Dave R — 02 Feb 2015

So I like Michael Mann movies, and I also don't mind movies that make you think some, but Blackhat seems like it should've worked on paper, but didn't in final execution. I mean you can shoot a movie well, the acting can be solid, but when the actual storyline and writing isn't all that great, it's hard to make a good picture.

Thor is decent and so is the rest of the cast, but how this story goes along, I can punch about 100 holes in it that would've made it about a 30 minute movie. I wanted to like this movie, and afterward I pretty much forgot about it by the time I got in my car.
