Review of Blackhat (2015) by Patrick K — 25 Feb 2015

This film follows the world of cybercrime when a hacker creates mayhem in China and the United States to syphon funds to finance an attack of greater magnitude and in order to find the person responsible the FBI require the help of convict hacker Nick Hathaway (Chris Hemsworth).

The plot is very basic and the majority of the characters are uninteresting and 1 dimensional but it looks good and on the surface quite entertaining but Michael Mann really needs to adopt a new filming style because his shaky cam only truly worked on "Heat".

So standard fare with its substance hidden within the style.
