Review of Black Widow (2021) by Superphilms — 14 Jul 2021

Going into this movie I had low expectations, and usually when I go watch a movie with low expectations it ends up surprising me and I end up enjoying it, not the same for this movie, it has left the same impact on me as Thor the dark world or Iron man 2, but somehow worse, it felt as if the move was portraying all the male characters as the bad guys or bumbling idiots, I get that it’s a female led film, but it ended up just feeling pretentious at times, like if it was trying to put men in their place…I have yet to see a female led movie where if you would switch the genders it would still be fine… Expand.
