Black Widow is a film that very much leaves me conflicted. I cannot say to you that it’s a bad film and unenjoyable. Nor can I tell you I didn’t have fun with aspects of the film. What I can tell you is this - walking out of the theatre I was very much asking myself if this movie needed to be made at all.
I wish I enjoyed it more than I did. The cast is wonderful. The action is fun. But it very much felt like “too little, too late” for me. I’m hoping on repeat viewings I’ll come to appreciate it more, but right now that’s where I am.
