Review of Black Water (2008) by Lynne P — 11 Feb 2009
The best movie I've never heard of. With a tight and well-written script, beautiful cinematography, great directing and acting, this movie kept me glued to my seat. The scene between the croc and the young woman was riveting and reminded me of the scene in Silence of the Lambs when Lector handed Clarice her folder.
Their fingers brushed, creating a moment of dichotomy both sensual and repulsive. Black Water is an excellent movie, one not to be missed.
