Review of Black Swan (2010) by Jose Gabriel R — 30 Mar 2013
"Black Swan" is many things: disturbing, twisted, creepy, intense and a showcase for the best performance of Natalie Portman's career. The film manages to pull you into a constant state of suspense and the search for perfection of Nina becomes an hypnotic spyral of madness that's disturbing yet impossible to resist.
Natalie Portman is the film's greatest strength, in a performance that's so good that makes you empathy for her, as well as making you worried and uncomfortable. A work of art, "Black Swan" needs to be seen and experienced.
