It took me four years to see this movie. I was amazed by it. One of of the best dance movies and possibly movies I've ever seen. Natalie Portman suited this role well and delivered a great performance.
I love that they followed the story of "Swan Lake" and incorporate it into another story line. It also projects the psychological stress and physicality of Ballet and dance in general. Portman did a great job being a 28-year-old women living with her mom but is still is portrayed a s a 12-year-old girl but slowly develops a dark side.
Overall, amazing!
