Review of Black Swan (2010) by Alex S — 19 Jul 2014
Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan is very overrated. Featuring overacting, melodramatic scenes that could almost fit in a soap opera, and a plentiful amount of forced symbolism, Black Swan is unable to overcome its flaws and therefore results in a disappointment from Aronofsky.
There is a certain level f artistic intensity, but that can't save the movie from its most noticeable errors. Natalie Portman cries through the entire movie and passes it as acting, and the only thing you will remember from this movie in a week is the lesbian sex scene.
