Review of Black Swan (2010) by Salman F — 06 Jul 2018
This is one of the best works ever made by Darren Aronofsky. Sure, the film also gained a lot of great appreciation when it first premiered. For me, this movie is not too heavy to be understood as other Aronofsky movies I've watched such as Requiem For A Dream and Pi.
Not to depth but has a lot of effort so there is much to discuss. Black Swan is one of the self-destructive and obsessive films. Taking the premise of Satoshi Kon's Perfect Blue, Black Swan is one of the greatest psychological thriller movies I've ever seen.
Natalie Portman is such a good actress in here, Clint Mansell with the perfect score, and has a pretty stunning choreography even though I don't fully understand ballet.
