Review of Black Sunday (1960) by Bill T — 11 Jul 2011
Very good gothic horror. Barbara Steele here plays two roles, one of a princess, and one of a witch1 The witch was killed by a spike filled mask centuries ago, and now she's come back to gain revenge on the family that killed her! Luckily a good looking doctor is travelling through town and attempts to make sense of what is transpiring.
Although the dubbing sometimes may give you the giggles, there's a lot of atmosphere to keep you otherwise entertained. Barbara Steele is certainly quite a looker. and her dual roles are quite entertaining.
