Review of Black Souls (2014) by Anthony A — 27 Dec 2017
'Black Souls' is an Italian foreign language film. It's about a trio of brothers and the mafia that has been their family profession for generations. It's slow paced to a purpose which gives you an eerie feeling that something is always about the happen.
The score is subtle but always on your mind whether you know it or not. A very engaging feature, due in large part to the natural lived-in characters and the nearly flawless acting. While it's not a classic, it's a darn good way to spend 103 minutes.
Final Score: 7.8/10.
