Review of Black Snake Moan (2006) by Smichaelangelo S — 13 Oct 2009
Great Drama, really surprised me, I was engrossed from the start. Acting was good especially Samual L Jackson - on top form here as the god fearing bluesman trying to save the soul of Ricci's character, a victim of sexual abuse.
While the film is quite dark and parts are hard to watch, the ultimate message of the film is uplifting and I loved Samuel L singing the blues! x.
