This is a movie about the Blues. It's about "the good, bad and the ugly" when it comes to sex and the sexes. It's about "getting right" and redemption, without being too preachy.
The marketing is slightly misleading, although what you see on the poster is in the movie, it's not all what it appears. Cliche ending that is a low note but very entertaining getting there. Overall, another sexy, gritty thought provoking movie from the creators of "Hustle and Flow".
Decent Bluesy Soundtrack.
