Review of Black Snake Moan (2006) by Lucas T — 03 Jan 2014

Black Snake Moan is a great watch for a bunch of reasons. Christina Ricci nude and all sexed up is number one. Seeing Samuel L. Jackson singing blues in the tale end of the the movie is number two also his performance is stellar.

Then there is a bunch of other things going on, themes of betrayal, trust, and redemption. The acting is top notch including Justin Timberlake who kind of kicks ass in this movie as an anxiety ridden soldier.

All the scenes were shot well. I particularly enjoyed the first scenes involving the chain. The movie could have been a little shorter IMO but regardless if you come across this film I'd say... watch it!
