Review of Black Sabbath (1963) by Hunter D — 06 Jul 2007
The first segment, the telephone, is a good, lean little giallo thriller, though it's nothing to scream about. The second segment, The Wurdalak, showcases Bava's beautiful photography, and the segment has some frightening moments, but it was a little longer than I would have liked.
The final segment, One Drop of Water, is by far the most terrifying. It puts Bava's best talents on display and provides more screams than you can shake a stick at.
