Review of Black Rock (2012) by Hugo G — 23 May 2013
This thriller had some good ideas and some not so good. The acting was one of the best things about it.I enjoyed a lot watching Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell and Katie Aselton. It runned very fast, but it was actually a good thing.
Some of the actions of the protagonist were kind of clever, while some were just plain dumb an useless. The direction of it, by Katie Aselton, was good and didn't look like an independent or low budget film.
Overall, this movie you will either like it or hate it. It is not meant for your general audience, but rather for a specific audience.
