Review of Black Rain (1989) by Richard U — 11 Sep 2007
Not just a superb action movie but also a thrilling display of friendship and despair, not to mention Scott's masterly portray of Japan.
As in many of his movies, he drops a direct and hard-hitting message - this time about one of the biggest atrocities of the last century heroically remembered by US media, the bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. (oops, seems like I got carried away!).
