Review of Black Rain (1989) by Gordon W — 25 Dec 2007
I saw this movie for the first time years ago and was blown away by everthing in it - from the setting, to the character conflict, to the clash of cultures, and the character development of Nick Conklin from a selfish, arrogant cop to the man who is devoted to bringing down Sato because of an envolving sense of honour.
I have seen this movie so many times and could quite happily watch it again at any moments notice!!
Plus one of my favourite scenes of all time is watching Charlie Vincent (Andy Garica) and Masahiro Matsumoto (Ken Takakura) singing a Ray Charles classic!
