Review of Black Panther (2018) by Ihateeverymovie — 17 Feb 2018

What's with Marvel and not finishing scenes? I understand you need a sequel hook, but come on. If Iron Man 1 had come out today, the movie would have ended right before Tony Stark admits that he's Iron Man. Take a look:

(end of Avengers 2).

Captain America: Avengers!

Audience: He's going to say "assemble"!

(credits start).

Audience: (chuckles because they didn't show him saying "assemble").

And in Black Panther, you've got not 1 but 2 of these scenes.

(end of Black Panther).

Kid: (to Black Panther) Who are you?

Camera man: (zooms in slowly on Black Panther's face).

(movie ends).

Then the first scene in the end credits:

U.N. Guy: With all due respect what does Wakanda have to offer to the rest of the world?

(scene ends).

Anyways, there's not much to say about this movie. It's a dumb generic super hero movie. If that's your thing then you'll probably enjoy it. I was about to fall asleep just as the big flashback started then the movie kind of picks up.
