Review of Black Panther (2018) by Beaufuller — 18 Feb 2018
Not joking, there exists racism in these reviews on here to bring down the user score on here while disregarding the movie's contents. This makes me sad, because although this movie has flaws, it is in no way deserving of the low user scores that it's receiving. It was honestly one of my favorite Marvel movies so far and to come up with a new unique story after so many other superhero stories have already been told in film and to do it in such fashion is really impressive.
There are some small parts where they drop the ball, in introducing too many different groups and too many story lines. But even dropping the ball on that one thing, the movie is leaps and bounds better than any, yes ANY DC movie, in story telling and in visuals. Oh my the visuals are stunning! So many colors and cool tech. I wish we could have more time in Wakanda to get a better sense of what Wakandan life is like!
The soundtrack is easily the best of any superhero movie out there and on par with any movie soundtrack save for TRON, which is easily the best soundtrack of all time.
I beg you to read this review as someone who has seen all of the Marvel movies twice that this might be the best one yet, no joke.
