Review of Black Panther (2018) by Movie M — 28 Dec 2018
I give Black Panther an 85%. Firstly, the film was very visually stunning thanks to Ryan Coogler's direction. Secondly, the script was very well done aside from the lack of plot twists and T'Challa's underwhelming revival.
The best cast performances came from The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira, Creed's Michael B. Jordan, and King Kong's Andy Serkis. The film's composer Ludwig Göransson delivered yet another amazing score, adding one of the best elements to Black Panther.
Lastly, I want to say how grateful I am that Wesley Snipes was NOT in this film. Thank you Hollywood!
