Review of Black Orpheus (1959) by Walter C — 16 Jun 2010
I find this movie hard to describe because all the scenes of dialogue feel like breaks from dancing and music.
A woman goes to live with her cousin because she fears for her life back home. She falls in love with a local musician who is about to get married and he falls in love with her during an annual festival. Sadly, the trouble she tried to get away from follows her.
It's a fun movie.
