I thought the movie was interesting in reflecting different cultures that children face when custody issues surface. I liked how they didn't make the child more in the middle, the dad never had a chance for custody, beyond anything else, he was a stranger to the child.
I liked how the mom wanted her son to be better so bad but finally got a truer picture of him.
