Review of Black Narcissus (1947) by Sara E — 28 Dec 2007
One of the most unique films I've seen with eye-popping visuals and cinematography. Though it is on the surface a repressed - sexuality melodrama, there is something else about this film that strikes me.
It's as if it transcends reality much more than other films - artifice and raw lust collide in such a unique way. Very hard to describe without seeing it.
