Review of Black Narcissus (1947) by Xgary X — 06 Feb 2007
Beautifully shot but ridiculously dated melodrama about nuns resisting temptation in the form of roguish David Farrar amidst the quaint and "child-like" natives who "all look alike".
Worth watching for the visuals (many shots seem like a framed oil painting) but the hysterical melodrama and stodgy dialogue will put many off.
