It ain't Good Fellas! I love gangster movies, but this isn't one of them. Johnny Depp's performance is good, but the script never elevates it self from just being grim. I mean, of course, you expect your share of killing, grisly, cold-blooded murder, but there's got to be something that we can take from it.
At least with Good Fellas, there was an element of humanity and - dare I say it - fun. Even with The Godfather we got emotion from the characters even if they were bad-asses. Here we just get the bad.
