Johnny Depp is so good - that it's scary. Once you get beyond the bad make up job, you forget who's really underneath it all. The rest of the cast is great as well. Unfortunately, the movie is just ok.
It's interesting, but doesn't really differentiate itself from other films in this genre. Solid filmmaking, but not memorable.
