Wow. Black Mass may be my favorite film from 2015, maybe behind Mad Max & Brooklyn, but definitely in the top 5. I'm a big Depp fan, but even I know he's been in a slump for sure. He is so good here.
Scary good. His Bulger is really quite terrifying. The supporting cast is really good, too. The film is dark and violent and so well done overall. I feel like there was a lot of attention for this film early on, but it kinda faded, which is a shame.
Hopefully people check out this movie & the great performances.
