Watch a 2 hour long biopic about notorious crime lord James Bulger alongside a nicely chosen cast for the most part. Entertaining although the pacing is a bit chaotic. It's been quite a long time since I've seen a Johnny Depp film that didn't make me want to tear my hair out, and Black Mass has just reminded us that yes Johnny Depp can still give a memorable and watchable performance, although he hasn't given one since 2009 (that's right I checked).
Depp really channels his inner Joe Pesci for this intense performance, made all the more psychotic with his blue contacts. Recommended.
