Review of Black Dynamite (2009) by Jason R — 06 Aug 2010
Entertain spoof of blaxploitation films of the 1970s. The most impressive thing about this is the production value and how they did a good job recreating the gritty '70s feel through film quality, stock footage, and editing.
The story is ok and does hit a lot of sterotypes of the genre but I almost wish that it had been played completely straight instead of a Naked Gun type of style since the material it is mocking/honoring is funny in itself.
