Review of Black Dynamite (2009) by Dan G — 30 Nov 2010
Hilarious satire of 70's blaxploitation films that's so dead on in terms of both content and visual style that I often found myself forgetting it was a parody. A thorough knowledge of the genre is apparent in all aspects of the production, from the over-the-top acting to the corny dialog to the production blunders such as boom mics deliberately creeping into shots.
Some of the gags ran a little long but overall this is a fun, smart comedy.
