What The Naked Gun did for cop dramas, Black Dynamite does for Blacksploitation movies. Sure, it gets a tad silly at times, but who can't laugh at a scene of Black Dynamite being a pimp one minute and an FBI agent the next? Also, the film gets a tad too self-aware at times, full of editing mistakes and "Grindhouse"-like errors, but I believe that's part of the movie's charm.
If you're a fan of Shaft (the original) or Dolemite, you'll dig Black Dynamite.
