Black Dynamite protects the neighborhood from the man, hoodlums, and drug dealers. When someone kills his brother, Black Dynamite begins a scorched Earth mission to bring down all wrong doers until he discovers who is responsible for his brother's death. Will Black Dynamite uncover the culprit?
"I don't answer questions. I ask them.".
Scott Sanders, director of Thick as Thieves, delivers Black Dynamite. The storyline for this picture contains numerous elements from 70s blaxploitation and martial arts pictures. The storyline is hilarious and well delivered. The script is marvelous and the comedic content is worthwhile. The cast includes Tommy Davidson, Michael Jai White, Arsenio Hall, Brian McKnight, and John Salley.
"You can hit the sheets or the streets.".
While Black Dynamite is a hommage to the wonderful blaxploitation films of the 70, it also contains numerous references to martial arts and other gems from the time period. The comedic content is hilarious, clever, and well delivered. This is an underrated gem and worth your time if you are a fan of the genre.
