Review of Black Death (2010) by Jeff P — 12 May 2011
Woh! Pestilence is abound here in this terrific tale of a remote village that has seemingly escaped the Black Plague...and a Necromancer has the ability to bring the dead back to life...soooo...with the guidance of a novice Monk, a band of Church inspired Knights are sent to investigate the rumours.
..the ensuing events will shock and surprise you at most every turn...gruesome in a few spots...the film is beautifully shot and the Knights are lead by none other than LOTR's Sean Bean...the main battle half-way thru the film is nothing short of an Excalibur inspired event.
...loved everything about this film and yes...it is not a happy film at all :).
