Review of Black Death (2010) by Justin A — 10 Oct 2011
An epically morbid tale about the plague that ravaged across the human population during the 13th century. Further emphasis was played on the hysteria and superstitious beliefs of the time.
I really enjoyed this movie, because it was practical and historically realistic. There is no actual protagonist, or rather the protagonist only brings about positive change in the context of the 13th century (ie. 'convert' the pagans by slaying them), which made sense back in the day.
Ultimately, I loved this movie. It was down to earth, and relevant. Not some fantasy b.s.
