Review of Black Death (2010) by Forrest E — 24 Jul 2012
Oh man. This could have been a spectacular movie if not for the lackluster second half. The beginning was terrific--the cinematography, the characterization, the looming sense of dread that hung over every shot.
But then when the group of demon hunters reached their target village, that sense of dread completely died. I became completely uninterested and the rest of the movie bored me. So the first half gets five stars, the second gets two.
